General Description:One of the oldest spices having a history that goes back some 4,000 years. Originally produced in the ‘Spice Island’ of Sumatra (now Indonesia) it can also be produced in other parts of the Indian Ocean Mainland. This climbing shrub can grow to 20 feet high and the seeds can be seen in every supermarket today as a major condiment
