General Description: The pine needles are really pointed leaves that protect the plant from losing water. This pine is also known as Pinus alba and grows mainly in many parts of Northern Europe. It is similar to the Scots Pine - Pinus sylvestris. Like most of the pines they are grown for their timber and the oil is produced as a by-product
