| General Description |
| Native to the Moluccas (the name is now Muluku). Nutmeg is on the the spices of the old spice trade. It grows on a tree which can grow to 40 feet high, though is coppiced to keep it within cropping size. It is a familiar spice with cooks, especially toward Christmas when spices abound in the culinary arts. The oil has limited use in aromatherapy but finds a use in Reflexology |
