General Description
Well known as a culinary herb, Marjoram is also named as Origanum majorana. Though native to the Eastern Mediterranean, it is now cultivated around the world. It is still known as French Marjoram or Sweet Marjoram to distinguish it from all other forms. Used in flavourings though may be found in certain types of fragrances. It has several uses in aromatherapy
