Thought to be the nearest cedar tree to the fabled Lebanon Cedar which is now a protected species. In fact there are more Lebanon cedars in Britain than in Lebanon. The country was once covered with cedars but they were almost totally destroyed when Solomon built most of his temples and palaces with timber. The oil is beautiful and widely used in perfumery | |||
